I am a lifelong trainer, athlete, and generally an all around outdoor fitness enthusiast. My whole family is excited about staying healthy and fit as well. I have been in this field for over 40 years.

*All Personal Training package options apply to the following depending on a client’s age, health, injury history, needs and abilities covered in the comprehensive health history interview prior to beginning a training program:
~ Hip & knee strengthening: includes specific strengthening exercises for the knee and/or hip. I have designed programs for clients ages 13 – 93 including strengthening for various sports, and strengthening pre- and/or post- knee/hip replacement surgery for older people using free weights, ankle weights, pulleys, bands & med balls. The aim is to improve performance and function, speed recovery, minimize disability, improve balance, and gain full function. The Hanger 44 Suspension Training System can also be used to assist movements when muscles are weak and de-conditioned. Improving a client’s quality of life is our main goal.
~ Golf injury prevention training & skill development: includes balance, strength, flexibility, coordination and power training using the Bosu, ball, various free weights and med balls plus balance discs. Back, hips and abs (core muscles) are targeted. I am a Certified Golf Injury Prevention Specialist.
~ Exercise Training for Osteopenia/Osteoporosis: weight bearing exercises, free weight training, medicine balls, bands and pulleys are some of the tools used to improve bone density.
~ Sport Specific Training: exercise training will target specific movement patterns, strength training, flexibility, coordination, cardiovascular endurance and muscular endurance involved with a client’s sport. We will take into account a client’s past/present injuries and as well as target any weak areas that need strengthening and/or increased range of motion.
~ Senior Programs: includes balance, joint strengthening, cardiovascular training and easy flexibility movements. Each client’s abilities are duly noted and will progress accordingly. I love working with older clients to help improve their ability to function throughout their day. We focus on activities of daily living and quality of life. Note: a doctor’s release/consultation may be required.
~Nutrition Coaching:
~ Nutrition Coaching: we emphasize easy, quick, nutritious meal ideas with emphasis on plant based eating for improving health and weight for the working professional or the client on-the-go. This can be combined within a personal training package. We can recommend and educate clients on tasty meal and snack ideas for individuals and families, what foods are best to keep on hand and what aren’t, grocery shopping tips, etc.
